The mini bus picks you after breakfast (around 8.30am) outside the Rosscourt and drops you back around 5-5.30 in the evening. This is a great day out for any age group and it doesn’t matter what the weather is like the professional guide knows lots of great places to take you to enjoy even in the rain!!

www.comptonacres.co.uk offers the most amazing day out in gardens across the world. You can sip coffee in the café overlooking the spectacular poole harbour. Enjoy a three course meal in the new restaurant. In August there will be a sculptor exhibition of animals over 8 feet high, this is a fantastic opportunity to view. If you want to view wildlife at it’s best a trip to Brownsea Island is an option. Just a short boat journey from Sandbanks or Poole Quay will take you onto the Island. Take a packed lunch (we can provide for £5) or eat in their café and spend the whole day exploring. See the Red Squirrels, peacocks and peahens roaming freely, view the birds from huts dotted on the side of the island. Join the free walk .
For surfers Boscombe has a great area around the pier that you can surf , wind surf or body board. A local shop has opened near the pier and lessons can be booked please ask us for information. Scuba Diving can be arranged from Christchurch. So if you are a water sports fan let us know and we will try and help you with ideas.
In 2007 Boscombe will become the second place in the world to have an artificial reef build, allowing far more days of surfing than ever before. The Rosscourt has plenty of space for your boards to be stored.
Keen cyclist or motorbike enthusiast we have storage for bikes and a secure area for motorbikes just let us know.
If you want to hire a bicycle go to www.forestleisurecycling.co.uk the shop is not far from the hotel and you will have safe storage.
